Today Marya's debut album "Payback Time" is available in shops (almost) all over Europe. The release will differ a bit from the one available some time ago in Marya's online shop - there will be two new songs there. If you live in the UK, Finland or Poland you'll have to wait though(the release dates are as follows: 08.11 in UK, 11.11 in Finland and 15.11 in Poland). It's Payback Time! UPDATE 08.11.2010: Polish release got rescheduled. According to fan.pl Polsh fans will have to wait until 18th November to be able to get the album. Let's hope there won't be more rescheduling. We also know the list of songs on the cd, those will be: "Time To Run", "Oh Yeah", "Strong", "21", "Filth", "Rebel", "Nothing Going On", "Loverboy", "Payback Time", "Boneyard". As you can see there are some songs missing if you compare it to the previous release, but there are also some new ones. Source: VNP, fan.pl |

Piret Järvis and her partner Kallervo Karu moved and they currently live 40km from Tallinn.Piret is very happy with their new home outside the city. The Vanilla Ninja girl and her boyfriend live in a village where it is not stressful and where they can relax. The land, the air and the beauty of forests and animals makes this place for Piret and Kalle peaceful and beautiful. "I feel very happy here, because I can listen to nature," said Piret. The move took place not only to ensure that the couple come to rest, but also because of their desire to be together, just with your partner. "Now we are here 100% on our own and we can focus only on ourselves." says Piret for the magazine Anne & Stiil. They are also very lucky if it's about neighbours who they can always turn to if they need something. "We have good contacts with each other." However, the couple often travels to the city in order to work. |

The portal Naisteleht.ee made an interview with Lenna. 1. What article did you buy recently and how much did it cost?I bought a watermelon at Nõmme market, it weighed much. It costed about 60 EEK. 2. Name one place in Estonia thinking of which brings a smile on your face.I love the moors. Everytime I'm there I think to myself: "Oh God, how beautiful it is here!". I also like the islands. My favourites are Aegna and Naissaar. 3. Which clothes in your closet would be the most shocking for the fashion police?I don't know if it would necessarily shock, but the black latex costume I was wearing during Meeste Tantsupidu in Rakvere created a lot of anxiety. 4. Who would you call first if you won 1 000 000 EEK?I talked about it yesterday actually, about who would I call then. Brother, for sure. And to my best friend. 5. What would you do if you could be invisible for one day?Only for one day? If I could be invisible for more time, I'd go for a trip around the world. 6. What is your favourite shop in Estonia?Since it's summer now, I love going to the market. I go to Nõmme market everyday, so it's currently my favourite. 7. Do you look at your own reflection in shop windows? Not all of the time of course, but since I don't have a big, full-length mirror at home, I sometimes look at my reflection in shop windows just to check if everything's okay. 8. What's your worst habit?Personally, I don't like when people are being late, though it also happens to me. So being late is my worst habit. 9. How long does it take you to get through all cosmetic procedures in the morning? Not so long. I wash my face, brush my teeth and I'm ready. In summer I let my face rest and don't apply makeup. The whole thing takes me no more than 5 minutes. 10. What is your favorite restaurant in Tallinn?Boheem - they have a good price/quality relationship and the atmosphere is very cosy. I usually don't eat out but still I have my three favourite places: Boheem, Sushi Cat and Vapiano. 11. What food you can't resist?Sushi. Sometimes I go out to eat it, sometimes I prepare it myself. Viljandi XVIII Folk Music Festival began last Thursday.
"I was only once at the festival in Viljandi - it was last year, when I was performing there myself. It's a very exciting music event and people there have a lot of fun." recalls Lenna, who last year performed in Viljandi with Zetod. The singer also recommends the festival in Viru, which she visited last year too: "It was wonderful, smaller and more intimate." The vocalist also tells how she balances work with lesuire: "I've got a lot of work. But I also find some time to swim, play, subathe and enjoy the summer." |

Lenna's album, after having been available to buy for seven weeks, is now the third best selling record in Estonia. Who knows - maybe next week the place will be even better? "Mida sa teed" single also does well in charts - it currently has a good 23 rd position in Radio Uuno's chart and 3 rd in Sky Plus. Good luck, Lenna! |

Recently, we have been reported that there are some issues connected with our name, therefore we want to explain a few things."Love Ninjas and Roscoe to Death", LNARTD for short (before: "Vanilla Ninja, The Pettit Project & Radio Free Roscoe") is a website dedicated to: "Vanilla Ninja" and "Love You To Death" music bands and a teen tv show "Radio Free Roscoe". We have neither anything to do with " Loveninjas" music band nor with one of the best "Vanilla Ninja" fanpages: " love-ninjas.com", and the name similarity to the afore mentioned is purely accidental and unintentional. What did cause it then? LNARDT name combines all the elements that our site is dedicated to: the name core comes from "Love You To Death", ninjas from "Vanilla Ninja" and roscoe from "Radio Free Roscoe". The created word pun is both catchy and easy to memorise. To avoid confusion, we want you to present yet another web address: lnardt.xt.pl. Nevertheless, we are not going to change the name, as it would require many complicated and long activities. We also inform, that we don't want to build our popularity on "Loveninjas" music band or "love-ninjas.com" site and we apologise for all misanderstandings and inconveniences. LNARDT administration |

Recenlty, we posted some information concerning Lenna's performance at the Õllesummer festival and said something about new songs she sang there. Now we know more about them!Lenna shared the information with Ninjaportaal. The first song is called "Suure tamme lugu" (en. "The big oak song") and was previously performed by the Collage band. The second one is "Realistliku ingli laul" (en. "The realistic angel song") with lyrics taken from a poem by Jüri Üdi (Juhan Viiding) and music by Lenna's bassist - Martin Laksberg. |

Katrin is not afraid of water - this year she'll try kite-surfing. "The adrenaline you get while kite-surfing gives you a lot of positive energy for the whole day." - she says in an interview for "Naised" magazine. She remembers however, to remain careful: "I know you shouldn't overestimate your abilities." She's also reasonable on the beach: "When I go sunbathing I always take some sun lotion, something to cover my head with and a bottle of water. I don't tend to swim in deep water and I try to keep an eye on the others so, if necessary, I could go for help or persuade the drunk ones not to go into the water." The interesting fact is that Katrin is afraid of thundrstorms. She says she always unplugs all electrical devices and stays as far from windows as possible during one. Source: VNP |

Marya Roxx is the most hardworking Vanilla Ninja ex-member (still no news on Triinu). What's up with her?The vocalist has already done the European Tour - "Time to Run!". As she mentions on her blog it was an amazing and unique feeling and she was welcomed warmly. Marya also cares about her online promotion: you can find her on facebook and reverbnation or you can sign up for her mailing list on her official message board. She also asks you to help her in a bunch of contests: here (you have to put her name on your right), here i here ((as for the zipcode - enter 07777). Source: myspace.com/maryaroxx |

Katrin is a ninja of which there hasn't been a lot of news lately. That doesn't mean however, that she does nothing. The keyboardist focuses on politics, although she appears in media from time to time providing the public a wonderful photoshoot ( here and here). As for the less important things (but still wanted by dedicated the fans): Katrin, as she said in one of the articles in Estonian press, has become a vegetarian. We hope we'll hear more soon! Piret doesn't idle and takes part in many projects.
As we know, the guitarist performed at Eesti Laul together with her new band Disko 4000. As for now, they're working on a new material and from time to time they give some performances. Except this, Piret is involved in Silmalaser company's (which deals with eye illness) advertising campaign and has showed on "Eesti Staarid Ahistajate Küüsis" ( click) - TV programme about dark sides of fame. Now we just have to wait for the announced new Disko 4000 material :) |

Lenna's solo career is very succesful. The long anticpiated cd, simply titled "Lenna', has finally got released. There are 10 Estonian songs on it. The album sounds very modern and fresh - it's worth listening to and finding out if indie pop suits Lenna. Here's the tracklist:
- Mida sa teed
- Musta pori näkku
- Kogu tõde jüriööst
- Rapunzel
- Tigedad liblikad
- Kotkasilm
- Ebaõnn naeratab
- Maailm ei keerle
- Torm
- Aed
That's not all however: the talented vocalist has also participated in some other projects. She won "Laulud Tähtedega" (which is the Estonian version of BBC's "Just the Two of Us") some time ago, accepted a role in a crime series called "Kelgukoerad" and performed at an Expo in China. Gotta say: she's a hardworking girl. Source: love-ninjas.com |

Although Vanilla Ninja girls haven't been too active lately, they deny the rumours: the band have not split up. "Vanilla Ninja still exists and we are not going to split up." - says Piret for delfi.ee, adding there are no reasons to do so. "We have already discussed it and decided for this to be calm period, during which we'll be busy doing other important stuff." In another statement she also reveals their future plans: "We want to do something for our 10th anniversary, which will happen in 2012. Until then VN will be mainly inactive. But of course we will never say "no" to interesting projects and therefore you might hear of VN even before that." So if anyone is still worried - calm down, there are no reasons to be afraid.
